Your hosts Kit and Angela invite guests to experience a home from home stay with co-coordinating bed linen and all the comforts of home. Both rooms have TV with free view / DVD player and hospitality tray. A mini fridge is available and for walkers a boot drier. Wi-Fi is available to guests.

Our breakfast menu includes a very full English or lighter breakfast options. Fish and Welsh dishes and vegetarian options are available too. All breakfasts are served with fresh fruit and served on royal Doulton china, in a candle lit dinning room or weather permitting by open French doors. For guests celebrating birthdays or anniversaries or a romantic week end a bucks fizz can be ordered. Breakfasts are served 9pm onwards.

Rooms are available from 2pm, but for guests attending events such as weddings, rooms are made available to fit in with their arrangements.

Walker Friendly - We are walker friendly. Situated within two miles of the coastal path we have facilities for boot drying and drying clothes. Packed lunches can be provided, local maps are available to view, and we can arrange to drop off walkers nearby.

With private parking and a partial sea view Summat Else is located within easy reach of the picturesque harbour, beaches, pubs and restaurants. The marine heritage coastline is excellent for walking, bird watching,  watersports centre (sailing, kayaking and power boat courses) fishing and regular boat trips to observe the marine wildlife and dolphins.

For those interested in Dylan Thomas there is a Dylan Thomas Trail both in and around New Quay itself, where Dylan stayed and wrote and took inspiration for “Under Milk Wood”. The film about Dylan Thomas 'The Edge of Love' with Kiera Knightly and Sienna Miller was shot on location in New Quay.

Tariff

Peak months June, July, August and September - (including bank holidays)
Bed with full breakfast menu £70 per night for two people

Off peak months (excluding bank holidays)
Bed with full breakfast menu £60 per night for two people

Mid week ( Mon – Thursday) bookings of two nights or more are discounted
We welcome well behaved dogs and owners – cost £5.00 per dog per booking.
