Your hosts Kit and Angela ensure guests are given personal care and
attention with rooms that have comfortable beds with colour
co –coordinating bed linen with plenty of scatter cushions. All rooms have
hospitality trays, hairdryers, fans and colour TV with freeview.
A mini fridge is available and for walkers a boot warmer/drier.
Plenty of home cooked options for breakfast, guests have the choice of a
full English, fish, Welsh, or vegetarian dishes all served with fresh fruit
and on Royal Doulton china. Breakfast is served in a well appointed dining
room with patio doors offering guests the opportunity to linger over their
breakfast in the garden.
With private parking and a partial sea view Summat Else is located within
easy reach of the picturesque harbour, beaches, pubs and restaurants. The
marine heritage coastline is excellent for walking, bird watching;
watersports centre (sailing, kayaking and power boat courses) fishing and
regular boat trips to observe the marine wildlife and dolphins.
For those interested in Dylan Thomas there is a Dylan Thomas Trail both
in and around New Quay itself, where Dylan stayed and wrote and took
inspiration for “Under Milk Wood”. The film about Dylan Thomas 'The Edge of
Love' with Kiera Knightly and Sienna Miller was shot on location in New
Quay.
