Penrhiwgaled is a beautiful 18th century farmhouse situated just 2 miles from Cardigan Bay and the picturesque coastal town of New Quay. Just a short distance away from Synod Inn, where the A487 coastal road meets the A486 heading towards Carmarthen and the M4.

The south facing house is located in a rural setting and looks over a lake surrounded by fields and areas of woodland where you can see our small herd of water buffalo graze. A peaceful rural setting with ample parking makes Penrhiwgaled the ideal setting for both business and short breaks.

Accommodation:  There are three bedrooms available:

  • Bedroom 1 - Large bedroom with king size bed and a comfortable settee looking over the lake and garden. This room is equipped with both Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is an en-suite bathroom and separate shower. £75 per room per night.
  • Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and separate shower. This room is equipped with both Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. £65 per room per night.
  • Bedroom 3 - Twin bedded room with private bathroom included. The bedroom looks over the lake and garden and is equipped with Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. £65 per room per night.

All of our rooms at Penrhiwgaled B&B are fitted to a high standard and come with all the facilities you would expect from a modern B&B or hotel. The breakfast room and the lounge overlook the garden where it is possible to sit and relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Outside: A large picturesque garden where it is possible to sit overlooking the lake and fields.

Tariff: £75 per room for kingsize bedroom. £65 per room for Double bedroom and Twin bedded room.

Directions from the north: Come down the A487 to Synod Inn, turn right onto the A486 towards New Quay. Follow this road 1 mile passing through the Village of Pentre'r Bryn. Look out for signs for the Honey Farm. On leaving Pentre'r Bryn turn right down Penrhiwgaled Lane. Our B&B and the Honey Farm are both signposted. Continue down this road for approx 1/2 mile passing the Honey Farm on your right. We are the next farm on the left - Penrhiwgaled Farm.

Directions from the South: Come up the A487 to Synod Inn, turn left onto the A486 towards New Quay. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile passing through the Village of Pentre'r Bryn. Look out for signs for the Honey Farm. On leaving Pentre'r Bryn turn right down Penrhiwgaled Lane. Our B&B and the Honey Farm are both signposted. Continue down this road for approximately 1/2 mile passing the Honey Farm on your right. We are the next farm on the left - Penrhiwgaled Farm.

Pets: Pets are welcome by arrangement.
